Summer Flounder (Fluke)

Nantucket Sound, wild-caught summer flounder (aka Fluke) are harvested by our members during the late Spring, Summer, and Fall months. Our catch goes directly from our boats to our seafood facility to you.

Summer flounder have flat bodies. They're nicknamed “chameleons of the sea” because they're able to change their coloring to blend in with the texture and color of the bottom where they live.

Flounder is a mild-tasting fish with slight sweetness and a delicate, flaky texture. It's a slightly fatty fish, but not fishy-tasting.
