A local favorite (native to Westport MA) the Macomber turnip is crisp and moist with pure white flesh; combines the sweetness of a rutabaga with a mild radish-like tang. Unlike standard store-bought yellow rutabagas, it is sweet and crisp enough to be eaten completely raw.
