Director of Operations
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations to join and lead our food hub team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to help shape Coastal Foodshed’s farmer food hub operations and implement our growth plan in the new space. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in operations management, process optimization, relationship building and team leadership. The Director of Operations will play a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing our organizational processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in delivering our mission. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for helping farmers succeed, demonstrating a deep commitment to supporting their growth, sustainability, and prosperity within the agricultural community. This position will oversee the food hub management team and reports directly to the Executive Director.

Virtual Market Manager
Position Overview: We are hiring a new position to manage our e-commerce platform, Coastal Foodshed’s Virtual Market. The Virtual Market was started in 2020 in response to the pandemic and has grown into an important component Coastal Foodshed’s farmer food hub operations delivering local food to 19 towns across the Southcoast of Massachusetts and into parts of southern RI. This is a new position at Coastal Foodshed that will be responsible for scaling operations, driving direct-to-consumer sales, managing product listings, packing/aggregating orders, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring a seamless customer experience on the platform. This is a good position for someone who is interested in building something from the ground-up. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and a good understanding of e-commerce operations. This position will manage the Delivery and Operations Assistants and report directly to the Director of Operations.

Food Hub Driver
Position Overview: Coastal Foodshed is seeking a dedicated and reliable Food Hub Driver to join our team. The Food Hub Driver will be responsible for sourcing local food from farmers and producers, delivering orders to wholesale customers, and packing wholesale orders. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food hub and maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The Food Hub Driver reports directly to the Wholesale Manager.
